Basic, simple Komby installation
Komby commonly provides two functions — it eliminates wires and it allows input of one holiday lighting protocol and output of another (or the same). The Komby Serial Adapter and RF1_12v combination can be inserted into an existing show’s signal (either DMX or Renard) and becomes a transmitter. Another set of the same boards can be set up within a few hundred feet and act as receivers, outputting either the same protocol that was input or an entirely different one — including smart pixel protocols.
A more thorough explanation of a single transmitter installation is also available.
